Why I do what I do…

Hey ya’ll, I’m Hannah!

I am sure you are wondering “who is this person I am considering to be apart of my birth journey?” Well I am so glad you are here and we get to know each other a bit better!

As a young girl, and one of seven siblings, I was fascinated with birth and often found myself watching birth videos or vlogs on YouTube. I even was intrigued and watched cesarean procedures. The wonder of birth has been in my heart and mind since I was young.

It came time to graduate high school and my Mom said she thought I should be a Doula. I am sure glad I listened to her… it only took ten years to take my Moms advice.

So here we are, with births and trainings under my belt. I am ready and can provide a calm support before, during, and after your birth so you can focus on bonding with your new little one.

I was born and raised in the Texas Hill Country and love this land dearly! So driving in and around the San Antonio area brings me joy. I get to serve families throughout San Antonio, Bulverde, Spring Branch, Boerne, New Braunfels, Cibolo, Schertz, and the surrounding Texas Hill Country.

Together, as you step into God’s gift of motherhood, we will nurture both your mind and body, creating space for harmony.

My goal is to help you be confident, prepared, and at peace in your birth and postpartum journey.
.Welcoming a baby is a joy, but it can feel overwhelming—let’s make it easier together.

Birth Philosophy

There are many birth philosophies out there and we all know birth is not as black and white as we might think. It is important to be confident yet remember birth may look different for each individual family. If you decide to give birth at home, in a birth center, or hospital I will serve you. Whether you choose a medicated birth or natural birth I will help you achieve your desires.

  • I believe birth is sacred, natural, and a gift from God.

  • I believe a mother’s body is capable and her mind has great power.

  • I believe a mother has a God-given intuition and a mother deserves full autonomy in her birth space.

  • I believe a mother and her partner deserve an in-depth education so they are prepared and can make informed decisions.

  • I believe when someone is invited into a birth space they should respect the mother’s desires, believe in the birth vision (birth plan), and intentionally work with the birth team.‍ ‍
